Who we are

Budyk (“we”) provides AI-powered English speaking practice. Contact: info@budyk.kz.

What we collect

Account data (email, name, sign-in provider); your CEFR level and goals; session metadata and text transcripts of your practice calls; wallet balance and payment records (top-ups via Kaspi). We do NOT store call audio recordings — only text transcripts used to give you feedback.

How we use it

To run your practice sessions, generate coaching feedback, operate your prepaid wallet, prevent abuse, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data.

Processors

We use third parties strictly to deliver the service: speech-to-text, language model, and text-to-speech providers (which process your voice/transcript in real time), Kaspi for payments, and email delivery. They process data on our behalf under their terms.

Retention & your rights

You can download or delete your transcripts and account at any time. We keep wallet/payment records as required for accounting. Email info@budyk.kz to exercise any data right.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit; secrets are never exposed to the browser; payments are handled by Kaspi. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
